Why practising out loud matters
Running through an answer in your head is not the same as saying it. Out loud, you find the places where you ramble, hesitate, or skip the result. Most people only discover this in the real interview.
What the AI Voice Coach gives you
- A live transcript and moving waveform as you speak.
- Your pace in words per minute, and a count of filler words such as "um" and "like".
- A STAR check showing whether you covered Situation, Task, Action, and Result, and what's missing.
- Your answer reframed in STAR order, using only what you actually said, with highlighted brackets where you need to add real detail.
- Notes on content (what to add or cut) and delivery (how the wording comes across).
- Playback of your recording so you can hear yourself.
Questions drawn from your own resume
With Pro, the coach uses the questions from your full interview guide for a specific job. That guide has 15 or more role-specific questions with answer frameworks, a STAR story bank built from the achievements already on your resume, questions to ask the interviewer, and a salary negotiation script.
What it can and can't judge
The coach works from the words you say. It can't judge your tone of voice, pitch, or volume, and it doesn't claim to. It works best in Chrome or Edge on desktop or Android, because it uses your browser's built-in speech recognition.
A simple weekly practice routine
- Pick three stories from your resume: a win, a mistake you learned from, and a disagreement you handled.
- Practise each one in STAR order, aiming for 60 to 90 seconds.
- Read the feedback, then record the answer again and compare.
- Spend most of your time on the questions you dread, not the ones you like.
- The day before the interview, run through your top five questions once more.
