Which seats should you build, and which should you buy?

Tell us the roles you need to fill. We work out, role by role, whether to upskill someone on your team or hire from outside, how long each route takes, what an empty seat costs, and where to start, with every assumption labelled so your finance team can check it.

Questions

Is the decision report free?

Yes. The report is free to use with no sign-up. You can print it as a PDF or copy a link to share it. If you would like us to check it against your own numbers, you can order a written review: S$300 for a single role or S$1,000 for a project of two to eight roles, before GST.

What does the AI do, and what does it not do?

If you describe your hiring needs in a sentence, an AI reads it to pick the matching roles from our official list and to read how many people you need and by when. It never writes a salary, a cost or any other figure. Pay comes from official government wage surveys or from you, and every cost is worked out by the same open model as the build vs buy calculator.

How is it different from the build vs buy calculator?

The calculator compares two routes for one seat. The decision report covers several roles and several people at once. For each role it works out how many seats you can fill by upskilling, given how many people on your team could realistically be upskilled, and how many you need to hire from outside. It then ranks where to build first and checks the plan against a target date.

Where do the numbers come from?

Pay for official occupations comes from the Ministry of Manpower's Occupational Wage Survey (Singapore) or the Australian Bureau of Statistics (Australia). For Singapore you can also use official course costs and Ministry of Manpower turnover figures. Everything else is a typical default of ours, labelled as a rule of thumb, that you can replace with your own number. Every figure in the report is tagged official, rule of thumb or yours.

Do you store my plan or my employees' details?

No. The plan lives in the link, which only you hold, and it contains only role names and numbers. The tool never asks for employee names or records. What you type in the description box is not stored. We keep an anonymous count that a report was made, so we can see whether it is useful.

Is this HR, financial or legal advice?

No. It is an estimate built from assumptions you can see and change. It cannot judge whether someone is able or willing to be upskilled. Use it to frame a decision, then check the figures that matter against your own data.

Want this checked against your real numbers?

Our defaults are rules of thumb. Your actual agency fees, time to hire and training costs make the report far more reliable. Tell us what you are planning and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.
