TalentBuild AI ("TalentBuild AI", "we", "us", or "our") provides an AI-assisted career platform, including resume analysis, job matching, interview preparation, and application tracking (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It is written to comply with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.
Account information: name, email address, and authentication data (including via Google sign-in) when you register.
Resume and career data: your resume file and its extracted text, target roles, skills, work history, and any other career information you provide.
Job search and application activity: searches you run, jobs you view or save, application statuses you track, and interview guides you generate.
Payment information: if you subscribe to a paid plan, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details — Stripe handles that in accordance with its own privacy policy and PCI-DSS standards.
Usage data: log data, device/browser information, and analytics about how you use the Service, collected via our hosting provider (Vercel).
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your resume content to train our own AI models.
To generate analyses, job matches, interview guides, and cover letters, your resume text and related career data are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for processing. This data is transmitted securely and is used solely to generate your results — under Anthropic's commercial API terms, this content is not used to train Anthropic's models.
AI-generated content is advisory only. It is generated from the information you provide and publicly available job market data, and while we design our prompts to avoid inventing facts not present in your resume, you should review all AI-generated content before relying on it or sending it to an employer.
We rely on the following providers to operate the Service. Each processes data under their own privacy and security terms:
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your resume, export a copy of your data, or permanently delete your entire account — including all stored resumes, job search history, and application records — at any time from your Account settings. Account deletion is immediate and permanent; we cannot recover deleted data.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and row-level security on our database so users can only ever access their own data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We use essential cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
Our service providers may store or process data outside Singapore. Where this happens, we take steps to ensure your data receives a standard of protection comparable to that required under the PDPA.
The Service is intended for individuals aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and for material changes we will make reasonable efforts to notify you.
